Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*PLEASE READ THEIR ENTIRE DESCRIPTION*
* * AN APPLICATION IS REQUIRED **

Coco, Cody & Casey are brothers. Their owner passed away and they are looking for a new couch to call their own. They do not have to be adopted together. They all have the same dad (Chihuahua) but different moms. All 3 boys have had a wonderful life, were well cared for and loved. Below is information on all 3 boys. When inquiring or applying, please advise which boy(s) you are interested in:

CODY is an 11-year-old, Chihuahua Rat Terrier mix. He has long legs but weighs around 12 lbs., he’s very shy, quiet, loves walks and to hang out on the couch. His adoption fee is sponsored & waived with approved application.

CASEY is an 11-year-old, around 8.5 lbs., Chihuahua Rat Terrier mix. He is shy but likes to talk and is vocal, he loves to be right by or on your lap. He's the most outgoing of the 3. He loves to be with people. His adoption fee is sponsored & waived with an approved application.

COCO is an 11-year-old, around 8.5 lbs., Chihuahua Min Pin mix, he’s a bit shy but a lap dog wants to cuddle up with you. He spent most of his life in his mom's lap. His adoption fee has been sponsored & is waived with an approved application.

Everyone is neutered, UTD shots and housebroken, good with other dogs and cats. If you run into trouble with our website, that is under construction, we can email you one (They are being fostered in Picayune, Hattiesburg, and Slidell)

More about this rescue

Begun in 1994, (St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana) the AAS is a small non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill rescue group dedicated to helping abused, abandoned, orphaned & neglected companion animals by fostering them until they can be adopted into loving homes. We began working in the Picayune/Poplarville, MS, area in late 2005, following Hurricane Katrina. Since then, we have struggled to build our rescue group back up with finding volunteers and placing the many animals in our care into forever homes. Each animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated & receives any other medical care that may be necessary. Each animal is placed in a foster home. We do not have a facility. These services keep the animals from being unnecessarily euthanized (destroyed) and stops the over population of animals. We work strictly from donations and help of volunteers/foster homes. We are always in need of donations and volunteers/foster homes. The more volunteers & foster homes we have, the more animals we can care for.
