We recently rescued 16 dogs from a breeding facility. Some of them are ready for adoption. We are located in Littlerock CA and I will not ship them out of state.
We have a simple adoption application on our website, do a pre screening adoption “interview”
over the phone which is truly just a conversation to make sure we are on the same page and then have the individual families out by appointment (don’t just show up). I will respond to TEXT messages only, because it’s too overwhelming to keep up otherwise. Please read the entire post before messaging me.
We will not hold dogs, dogs are adopted by meeting them all and seeing whose personality fits best with your family. Before you message me, please make sure you and your family are 100% ready to adopt and all in agreement. These dogs ARE NOT POTTY TRAINED, they have lived in cages their entire lives. Everything is new to them so they are super shy and easily startled. We are looking to place them in quiet easy-going homes. They’ve never been inside a house before, they’ve never been held, they’ve never been pet, they’ve never seen toys, they didn’t even know what dog beds were. They are all coming around but have a long way to go, so they need patient loving families.
The adoption fee covers the vet care each dog has had- a dental, spay/neutered, microchipped and been given 6in1, Rabies, dewormed and Bordetella. I have no medical history on them otherwise. Home check and adoption contract.
