It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
SERGEANT RODRIGO SANCHEZ was found in a lady's back yard in San Jacinto, California. The lady's dogs kept chasing them out. She ended up catching these guys and fostering them. She reached out that she needed help with the several set of kittens she saved and all the cats on the need to be fixed.
Once SERGEANT RODRIGO SANCHEZ and his 2 siblings (SERGEANT WILLIAM "BUCK" SPIVEY and OFFICER NORA FOWLER) were ready to be fixed we took them in. Our rescue actually caught more cats in that neighborhood that were extremely friendly. And you will find them all with names from the show S.W.A.T. He is now ready for his TRUE FUREVER home.

His mellow temperament makes him a joy to be around, while his goofy antics keep you laughing. Gentle and funny, he's also smart, quickly learning new tricks. SERGEANT RODRIGO SANCHEZ is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR /TUXEDO MIX. He is about 4 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around young children and seems non-reactive to dogs.

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MARCH 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
