Mama Sal just did a FABULOUS job raising a big litter of kittens, and now she's ready to relax and take it easy from here on out! Sal is full-grown, at approximately 2 years old, but she's small in size, and likely to stay that way forever. Her small body size almost makes her look like a big kitten herself!
Sal's foster family say she's handled their full crew of permanent-resident kitties and a couple of dogs like a champ! She hasn't made best friends with anyone quite yet, but she happily co-exists with them all, so we imagine that with proper, slow introductions and calmer housemates, Sal will do well and be able to settle right in! A cute tidbit: Sal has a HUGE purr! If you get her going and happy, you'll definitely know it. :)

Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. Each kitten has a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week time frame. Our typical adoption fees are $150 per Siamese Wannabe and $200 per Siamese mixes and Siamese and some others.

We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
