If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Annie is a gentle and sweet American Foxhound. She was adopted last summer and her vet thinks that she is about 6 years old. She is great with young kids under 5 and older kids too. She loves cats and dogs (even senior small breed dogs) but she can be a bit cautious around dogs bigger than her. At some point in her life, she had a broken or fractured jaw so she has a bit of a snaggle tooth, but that just makes her more beautiful. She would love younger dogs in the home who will play with her.
She is mostly potty trained but will sometimes still have accidents. She is a bit stubborn with training so we recommend someone with hound experience. She loves treats but hasn’t shown any interest in toys.
