Shruggs is currently being fostered in TEXAS.
Shruggs is apx 5 years young and a short stout 11 pounds. He has a deformed left limb and this is a birth defect. He still gets along just fine.
We got Shruggs from a pretty bad situation and he came in with a broken soul but day by day he is getting better, lifting his head a little higher, and seems that every day his sun shines a tad bit brighter.
He is still a work in progress and needs a loving and patient adopter. He is not aggressive and does not bite but he is timid and shy.
He loves other animals but no small children please living in the home. I think the visits from toddlers would be fine as he is not an aggressive dog, but he is very quiet and submissive. I think living in a very loud home 24-7 may be too much for Shruggs.
Here is what his foster has to say...Update on Shrugs:
Learning to walk on a leash, does stairs really well up and down, likes to run, is a couch potato at heart, sleeps in kennel, he mostly potties outside & I leave the back door open, he had an accident yesterday but was my fault I closed the door after I went in the backyard. He follows me around all day, loves to cuddle. His nervous tinkling has pretty much stopped. He is sweet, gentle and a cuddle bug. He does really well with other gentle dogs.
