My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack Black is currently being fostered in TEXAS.
Jack Black, or as we call him, Jackie, is the most loving, gentle, empathetic, and soft as can be little boy. He is apx 10 months old and 9 pounds. He will not get much bigger.
Jackie was rescued from high kill shelter here in Atascosa county. He was so upset and sad in his kennel. He was absolutely terrified at the shelter and when we brought him to the rescue, he slept for an entire day. At first, he was nervous and he would just roll over belly up being very submissive to us and the other dogs because he was just so scared, but he always wanted love and attention.
All he wants is to give love and receive love. I don’t think humans have always been very kind to our little Jackie. He never jumps on you or asks for attention, he just kind of stares at you with these soulful eyes, begging quietly from within for some cuddles and attention. He will just curl up on your lap and get hugs and do that big rescue dog sigh. He is a dog that will always be grateful to be rescued, there is just something about him, that you know that from within.
Every day he blossoms more. He is doing great on the leash and harness, he plays with all his friends.
Jackie is great with well mannered gentle children, cats and all dogs.
He does not mark.
He is very well mannered and has a wonderful personality. Jackie just wants a family and he has been waiting his entire little life for you.
