My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Marple is a gorgeous girl that is only 3 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She appears larger than she truly is and she is solid and a red beauty that we believe to be a Red Lab mix.  She is a girl that would love to go on walks to outdoor events where people congregate and will stop to meet this friendly and outgoing girl.  She worships the ground her foster family walks on.  She is wonderful with young children, older children and loves males dogs….better than most females.  She is not a fan of the cat kingdom and all its creatures who we think a home where she might be the Queen Marple girl could be the ideal setting for her.

When we ask her to go for a ride you get a resounding ….YES LET’S GO>  She does wonderful on a leash and is kennel trained and housebroken.  If you ask about activity level, it is active and curious and regular daily walks, runs, hikes, and outdoor living is just the thing for her.  We could see her in a great rural setting where she goes for walks on a multi acre property with other farm animals that need to be attended to.   She has learned some basic commands because she is smart and WANTS TO LEARN.

Since she is extremely food motivated this will make her a shoe-in for learning new things and dog skills.  One of her favorite things is to play fetch and a family with 8 year and above children who want to throw the ball and have their wonderful family companion bring it “back” to them will be the most natural thing for Mrs. Marple to do with them.  Well, besides love the children and want to be their BFF. If you are interested in this beauty please stop right now and type in our email to ask for an application or to answer more questions.  She is ready for her forever home and a committed family to love.   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live: city and state, as we adopt here in Tennessee where we are based and then we transport northward every weekend as well.  And Mrs. Marple LOVES TO RIDE!

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
