My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To all you Black Dog Lovers…. Here is your chance to adopt the BEST OF THE BEST of the Black Lab Girls in a sea of thousands out there. Hailey’s Girl is a charming, lovable, faithful girl and she is a “Keeper” as they say.   A top shelf dog.   She has The Best Smile on 4 Legs, that you will ever encounter in your lifetime.  She has a kind and loving soul that forgives and seems to forget the sad things that her former humans did to her when they abandoned her because she was not convenient in their lives anymore.  This girl is excellent with other dogs once she's introduced properly, but does not like to be tossed into a pack and we have to agree.  That is hard for us humans to be thrown in to a room and expected to like others to come and stare at us and demand that we “play” with them right away. When she does start playing she is very vocal but it is all innocent and not a threat in the least! She does great with a sweet toddling one year old baby girl in her foster home, which qualifies her as great with kids. She could live without a fence, once she is accustomed to her new home and routine. Hailey’s Girl is very playful when she's ready to play and she has a nice 'off switch' when it's time to settle down and allow for her to rest. She LOVES food and she needs some exercise daily to help trim some of the pounds on her now.  She is 4 years old and weighs 55 pounds and could honestly be better at 50 pounds.  She is smart and eager to please and extra training would be a breeze.  Housebroken and great on a leash and rides happily in a car with great anticipation of the adventure that lays ahead  wherever you are taking her.  We think that Hailey’s Girl could be YOUR Girl one day soon if you just email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
