My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Now wait a minute...doesn't this boy seem familiar? If you think you are seeing doubles...you sure are! Meet Tom! Tom is a 6-month-old, 33lb male German Shepherd/Aussie mix. Yesterday we introduced you to his brother twin brother Tim. You know what the great thing about twin dogs is? You and your best friend can each adopt one. That way you will now be "family" by default and both of you get almost the same exact amazing and super handsome dog! Both of these boys have such amazing personalities, so even if you miss out on one....there is still another one! ;)

Tom believes that it is his duty to carry his toys around everywhere with him. He thinks it is very important that he socialize them and expose them to the outside world. For us humans, it is the cutest thing ever and given how photogenic he is.....you will spend a good part of your day taking photos of this boy! Tom loves to have fun and play with the other dogs, follow his people around, and be part of his family's activities. He also likes naps and cuddles so is perfect for someone that is looking for a dog that can be both calm and playful. Tom was a stray who found himself in the shelter and was never reclaimed. Tom would probably enjoy going on walks with his new family and maybe even on hikes. Given his friendly temperament, we think he would steal the spotlight should you take him out in public with you. All Tom asks is that you be patient with him as things like the leash are still new to him and he needs some more exposure to it. Tom would also do well as a homebody if his new family had another playful dog or ways to keep him entertained at the house.

Tom is a lover and that means he is good with other dogs, kids, and even cats! He was already abandoned once so he may be a little nervous about trusting something or someone new at first. However, all it takes are some kind words and yummy treats and he will soon throw caution to the wind and become your best friend and love you with all of his heart!

Tom thinks that being in the house is super cool and he wants to make sure he has the best manners around! With that said, this is all still new to him so his new family needs to be prepared to help him with his training. He wants to have manners so good that your grandma will brag on him. He wants to be so well-socialized that he can be calm in even the most hectic of situations. He wants to have house manners so good you can trust him to watch over the house, even when you are gone. To do that though, he needs to get on a good schedule, be exposed to lots of different things/places, and be taught what is okay to chew on and what is better left alone.

Could Tom be the fluffy butt you have been looking for? If so, get your application in for him today at https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3
