Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a real mystery to introduce to you. Please meet Sunny, a roughly 2 year-old, 60 pound female bundle of happiness. Just like her name, this young lady can cheer you up with her happy-go-lucky personality. Sunny spent time in 2 Georgia shelters, and when her owners that were on her microchips were contacted by HomeAgain, they hung-up! This girl came to us with a beautiful groomed coat, and she checks SO MANY boxes, we are stumped as to why she was not claimed - their loss! Sunny is completely housebroken, gets along with dogs big and small, male or female. She LOVES walks on a leash and rides in the car. Sunny sleeps in a crate at night and while she does think she is a 16 pound lap-dog, with her fluffy long tail, we think Sunny would do best with children over 5, simply due to her size. She has shown no aggression - she hasn’t even barked in her foster home! A fenced yard where Sunny can get ample exercise and an active family (hiking and long walks are her favorite), would be ideal. Sunny loves to chase balls, toys, and rough-house with other dogs so another dog similar in size would be perfect, but Sunny could also be an only dog, if she is exercised properly. Sunny hasn’t been exposed to cats but we think her curious nature will make her want to check out the cat but not be mean. Oh, and Sunny knows sit, down, come, and shake, and hasn’t met a tennis ball she doesn’t love! Again, a real mystery as to WHY anyone would let this sweet girl go - she will make a great addition to any family! If you would like to know more about Sunny with the potential to set-up a meet and greet, please complete an application at Releash Atlanta.
