Hi! Momma Mimosa here! I recently arrived in Minnesota when my Brunch Litter puppies were just a few days old. I was found in a woodpile with my day old puppies and two kind souls drove down to pick us up.
I love to be around people and have been such a sweet girl to everyone I have met! I love my babies and am such a good momma but I am looking for a place to call my own now that they are grown.
Toys are new for me but I love them, especially ones that squeak! Right now I have a collection of them on my bed! I just want to be your cuddle buddy and spend time by your side!
I am learning the art of walking on leash and am doing my best to master it but it is going to take some time!
What do you say, can we meet? I'm sure we will become fast friends!
***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** Mimosa is Heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She will soon start her Heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, and her spay is done, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high-energy play or exercise. Mimosa will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Mimosa, please fill out an adoption application.
-------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
