How amazing is it to have someone who puts you above everything else? Someone who just wants to please you. Someone who loves you unconditionally? That someone is Luke 💗 Luke LOVES people. Noisy kids, grumpy adults, sedentary seniors, everyone! If he can hang out with his humans all day, that would complete him. Dogs or no other dogs in the home, doesn't matter. Luke is all about the humans. He is so sweet and loving. He makes a good Emotional Support Animal. He will stay by your side, give you cuddles, and compression holds, or run along with you if you are into outdoor adventures. Being young, Luke still has his bursts of zoomies and energy, He can get excited by simple things, like you coming home, or anticipating guests 🤗Sometimes the excitement translates to mouthiness. That said, Luke is eager to learn. Anything you want to teach or show him, he will absorb them all. He is a smart boy and with his love for treats (which he takes very nicely), makes him a dream to teach new things. If you have to leave Luke alone for a couple of hours, Luke enjoys a frozen kong, lick mat or puzzle toys in his crate. Something to pass his time. Be careful leaving him with things that can be easily destroyed. Luke thinks everything needs to go in his mouth. If he has something in his mouth he shouldn't have, use a trade method to remove it from his mouth. We do not want to encourage resource guarding.
Luke is about 1.5 years old, 45lbs. He is crate trained and housebroken. Luke is best in a home where the family embraces his innate ability to offer emotional support, a family who is able to devote time to guiding Luke to be the best puppy he can be. A family who can involve Luke in activities. A home with older kids is preferred as he still has puppy energy. He jumps when he is excited. A home with or without dogs or cats is fine for Luke.
