My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for the most wonderful boy in the world, look no farther.  My name is Wesley and I am one very happy handsome boy.  I am  a Brittany/Collie mix, 15 mths old and almost 50  lbs of fun-loving puppy.  I am  utd on my vaccines, hw/tick neg and on hw/flea prevention.  I am neutered, crate trained,  microchipped, and housebroken.

My wish list is a nice big physical fenced in yard with another 4-legged playmate to run and tussle with.   To have a loving family that will throw my ball and play with me and spoil me.  I may be a big boy, but I do want to be in your lap or beside you watching tv.  I love balls,  treats, toys, bones and all kinds of fun things.  If I sound like the boy for you, please fill out that adoption application, so I can find my forever home.

The adoption fee for TX/Wesley, who lives in Sanger, TX  is $325,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Wesley part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Wesley.

Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

More about this rescue

National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a network of caring and dedicated volunteers who have a deep passion for dog rescue and specifically the homeless Brittany, affectionately called a "Britt."

Once called "the Brittany Spaniel," the AKC has officially changed their breed name to "the American Brittany." A Brittany retains a puppy-like quality in their personality and are gentle, clownish, active dogs. They are great family dogs.

The number of dogs available for adoption varies from month to month. .
