My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper G here.  I am looking for my forever loving family.  I am  a 2 yr old orange/white neutered 45 lb Brittany baby boy.  UTD on everything.  HW & tick neg.  On HW & tick prevention.   Crate trained, housebroken, and healthy.

I would love to have a physical fenced  yard or wrought iron at least 5 ft tall.  I can jump a 4’ or get over a chain-link fence.  I would love to have lots of balls and toys.  I will fetch it for you, or I can run and play by myself.  I love squeakies.  I will run and toss them in the air and catch them.  I am a very happy affection boy.  I hope I am what you are looking for, I will be your best friend and confidant.

From Foster MOM:  Cooper G is very sweet, loving, and affectionate.  He loves to play fetch with his ball but will also happily entertain himself outside by running around or playing with his squeaky toys.  He rarely barks, loves dogs, and everyone he meets.  He is one very amazing boy.

The adoption fee for TX/Cooper G, who lives in Round Rock, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Cooper G part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Cooper G.

Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

More about this rescue

National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a network of caring and dedicated volunteers who have a deep passion for dog rescue and specifically the homeless Brittany, affectionately called a "Britt."

Once called "the Brittany Spaniel," the AKC has officially changed their breed name to "the American Brittany." A Brittany retains a puppy-like quality in their personality and are gentle, clownish, active dogs. They are great family dogs.

The number of dogs available for adoption varies from month to month. .
