My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Schaeffer is a gorgeous male Terrier, who is somewhat shy with new people, until he gets to know you.

He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Schaeffer does well with most dogs, though he is not a fan of large males. We definitely think he would thrive in a home with another dog, if it's the right fit.

He is potty trained to use a doggy door, seems to do great with children, and recently introduced to cat, who he is fine with.

Submit Application

We ask for an application to be submitted. prior to meeting the animal you are intersted in.

Home Check

We verify vet references and do a home visit, prior to approving and finalizing an adoption.

3.
Approve Application

Once you are approved, the adoption agreement will be signed and the adoption application will be paid.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be filled out, prior to adoption, and a home visit is required. Once a potential adopter is approved, an adoption contract is required. We do not ship or transport our animals.

Our rescue animals are housed in foster homes, until adopted. We partner with local businesses, to hold adoption events, where you can come meet our available animals, looking for forever homes.
