Goose, also known as Fletcher (lol), is an adult male pit bull looking for his forever family! Prior to rescue, Goose had a horrible injury - a mauling of sorts - that required the total amputation of his front left leg. But don't let that deter you - because he maneuvers just fine and has adapted beautifully! He loves to run in the yard and play ball with his furry foster siblings (pictured!), equally as much as he loves to cuddle with his foster mama and dachshund fur sibling, Pepper!
Goose is 100% healthy, potty & kennel trained, and is working on basic obedience. He was a Pitmas dog (part of our annual Christmas Campaign) and thus his adoption fee has been sponsored AND he comes with a "start up kit," of sorts, with all his favorite things.

Our rigorous adoption process ensures we are selecting the right home for each individual dog and his/her unique personality. This includes an application, home check, veterinary reference check, personal reference checks (only in certain situations), landlord checks (for rentals), phone interview with candidate, and meet and greet with our dog. From there we sign paperwork, pay the fee and send the dog home. We follow up frequently during the first few weeks, but are always a resource to our adopters.
