My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovebugz is a very special cat. He is a sweet senior kitty and came inside last year for the first time in his life. He has no teeth but loves to eat, and when it is feeding time -- watch out because you better be not be late! He gets along great with the dogs at home and with other cats and can often be found snuggling with his foster sister in a soft cozy bed. Lovebugz likes to be around people but isn't a lap cat. He is just great company to have around! Lovebugz is on a low-carb, all-canned food diet to control his blood sugar and ensure he lives a long and healthy life. Lovebugz would do great with other low-key cats or as someone's one and only kitty friend.

Lovebugz is about 12 years old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
