My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET THE ISLAND FUN PUPPIES!

These adorable babies' mama was picked up as a stray by animal control. She was obviously pregnant so they reached out to JoJo's to see if we would take her so that her puppies would not be born at the shelter. Mama Tiki was with us about two weeks before she gave birth to six beautiful babies. The babies are almost 7 weeks old now and will be ready for forever homes when they are 8 weeks old on March 15th. In the meantime we hope to find their families so that they can settle in at their new homes as soon as they are ready.

Mama loos like a Lab possibly some kind of terrier mix. She's much smaller than a full lab at only about 30-35 lbs. Some of the puppies are fluffier than Labs, so we're trying to figure out what the daddy dog could have been. Possibly border collie or aussie (for the fluff) or there could be hound (black and tan pup) or there could be more than one dad. Not knowing the dad(s) makes it difficult to predict adult size but based on their size at six weeks old it does look like they will be medium-sized adult dogs – maybe a little bigger than their mom. We'll guess 35-45 lbs now and update that if their growth rate indicates something else.

The puppies are very people-friendly and playful.
If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!
