My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet one of the Mountain Ranges puppies! Two girls and two boys came to us from the shelter at about 10 weeks old.

We do not know his breed mix for sure, but he looks most like a Lab mix to us. Rocky is a very sweet "teenage" pup now and he has been waiting patiently for the right person to find him. He is somewhat submissive compared to his siblings which makes him a little timid initially, but he is so affectionate and loving.

We do not know how Rocky and his siblings ended up in a shelter, but we do know he is going to be a wonderful addition to his family. He is house-trained to a doggy door and does great with dogs of all sizes in his foster home. We think he would be fine in a home with or without other dogs. He particularly loves people.

If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We are foster based, so meet and greets are set up after approval. Email applications to jojosdogrescue@gmail.com

2.

Approve Application

We are pretty much a two-person operation, but usually our application review process is fast -- often the same day as received.

3.

Meet the Pet

With application pre-approved, adopters are able to take a pup home from their meet and greet if they are ready and the pup is old enough

Additional adoption info

We have an application process and we will check vet and personal references (usually takes only 1-2 days). There is also an adoption contract and fee which helps to cover vet and other expenses. The contract is designed to ensure the dog is cared for in all ways and if you are ever unable to care for the dog, re-homing is approved by us. If the dog is too young to be spayed/neutered before going home, you will also sign a document committing to having the dog fixed and the rescue will follow up.

We have events from time to time and will post on our website and Facebook.

We do not have a shelter open to the public. Visits are arranged on an individual basis.

We are all volunteers and do our best to accommodate everyone.
