My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our bestest boy is ready to find his forever home!

Puma is much faster than he looks.  He spent a few days fleeing and eluding police on Kensington Ave in Philly.  ‍♀️

Once he was apprehended by animal control, he was sent up the road to ACCT, then paroled to us at NARPS!

Puma spent a couple days with one of our board members until he hitrched a ride to his foster home… at a farm where he belongs.  We are pretty sure he was once a house pig, if you open the food machine (fridge), Puma comes running!

He is estimated to be about a year old and about 40 lbs.  He loves people, curious about other animals, and is *loving* farm life… so we are looking for a home where he can continue to be the best piggy boy he can be!

More about this rescue

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
