My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We sometimes get to see the most incredible transformations in rescue. Blaze came from being abandoned and living in absolute squalor, confined in a pen to slowly starve to near death. We will be forever grateful to the good Samaritan who saw him and called the authorities. We are deeply grateful to the local sheriffs who went out and freed him from hell on earth. We are beyond indebted to the lady who nursed him back so that he could travel to be with us. His foster has completed the work needed to bring him back to the beautiful dog we knew he could be!

Blaze is a young purebred, red and white husky who is absolutely stunning. He is goofy, he is silly, he is dopey, he is derpy — he is everything you want in a husky. Blaze would love another playful dog in the home, preferably no cats.

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
