Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foxy is the sweetest girl who was let down by her former guardian. She was purchased as a puppy, but their landlord said they could not have a dog. It was a heartbreaking situation that left her in the lurch. We hope now that Foxy can find a home with a kind human who is ready for the commitment and is able to care for her for her foreseeable future. She deserves to know a stable home and loving family. Foxy appears to do very well with other dogs and would be considered for a home with children who are kind to animals and cats. Foxy is a staff and volunteer favorite -- she is VERY quiet and polite. Please consider Foxy!!

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
