My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hana, a sweet Akita who has experienced a significant loss and is in need of a loving, understanding home. Hana was adopted out by us at 7 months old and spent 7 wonderful years with her husky brother and beloved mom. However, after her mom's unexpected passing, Hana found herself back with us as no family members could take her in.

Understandably, Hana is feeling confused and saddened by the loss of her family and home. She would thrive in a home experienced with Akitas, where she can receive the patience and care needed to rebuild her trust and confidence.

Hana is fully vetted, housebroken, leash trained, and well-behaved, making her an ideal companion for the right family.

Are you ready to open your heart and home to this beautiful Akita and give her the second chance she deserves? Please go to our website at www.bigeastakitarescue.org and complete an online adoption application.
