My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Harrison.

Now that my "wheelie" brother from another mother, Luke has found his forever home in Florida, I thought I would see if my people are out there.

I'm not one to brag. But, you know, people talk when they think you're not listening. Boy have I heard some things about me! Let me tell you a few:

"Harrison is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs I've worked with. He loves to snuggle but is also hell on wheels! (in the best way)."
"When Harrison is out of his wheels and running around the play yard, he would give Peter Cottontail a run for his money with the way he hops."

"Harrison is a lover and very smart. Some of his favorite things are food, outside walks in his chair, food, people, food, attention, food, and the never missing stuffed animal he carries."

Now for the boring stuff.

November 2022 could have been better for me. I was found in a ditch by a caring soul after being hit by a car. That's when St Francis stepped in to provide my medical care, rehab, and love. Lots of love!!

I like most dogs. But, I may be just a tad too interested in cats.

Got food? I'll train with you. Remember someone says I was smart.

Got kids? I'll play with them. I love little hoomans... As long as I get some exercise. I'm a big boy and without the use of my back legs, I sometimes can't stop once I get going. I could knock little ones down by accident.

Got time and patience? This 55 pound, 2-year-old, proud Boxer needs some embarrassing help. You see, I need help to ... ... ... pee n poop. It's not hard to help me. My friends here at St Francis will be happy to teach you, and with practice you'll soon be a pro!

I have so much love to give, sometimes I think my heart will explode if I don't get a family of my own. I already have wheels that i LOVE and if you take me home, you get to take those, too.

Got questions? Have your people call my people.
