Hello, I’m Princess Fiona, but you can call me Fiona! I’m an eight-year-old, six-pound, longhaired female chihuahua, fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. I come with my very own lady-in-waiting, Izzy, so my new home will need to have room for two.
Instead of the castle I deserve, I was raised in a breeder’s warehouse and spent all my time in a crate, with little socialization. Consequently, I am very timid and fearful, and will need lots of time and patience in my new home. I’ve already made excellent progress in my foster home and am getting accustomed to being touched and fed out of my foster mom’s hand. I come when called, tail wagging, but I still get scared and run away when approached directly.
While people may frighten me, I get along well with other dogs, especially my best friend, Izzy! She gives me the true royal treatment, grooming me regularly, and I take care of her right back. We also snuggle together and always practice our dancing at mealtime.
I’m a happy, healthy dog whose had a rough start in life. Will you give Izzy and me the fairytale ending of our dreams? If so, we promise to help you live happily ever after too!
Princess Fiona’s adoption fee is $300. If you want to adopt Fiona, please DO NOT SEND A MESSAGE TO OUR RESCUE GROUP. We are too busy placing dogs in great homes to answer messages and inquiries through the listing site.

CRT does not warehouse dogs in a shelter. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments. CRT foster parents work very hard to be sure that their foster dog feels safe and loved while working on housetraining, crate training, socialization, etc. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and have all other veterinary needs taken care of (such as heartworm treatment, dentals, luxating patellas, etc.) CRT is known, and has always been known, for taking the injured, infirm and elderly Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Please consider the adoption of one of these dogs as well. Seniors and special needs dogs make great pets too!
CRT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, public charity. We have no paid employees. We are dedicated to rescue, adoption and the medical care of stray and homeless Chihuahuas in need, and to help control the growing overpopulation through spaying and neutering all dogs in our care.
