My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barney and Angel are a bonded pair of tabby brothers who are looking to spend their second birthday in a forever home. We accepted them in 2023 from the Solano Shelter to keep them from going back outside to their overpopulated colony. They started with recurring eye infections and have grown into healthy and goofy young men.

Barney is the shy but flirty, quiet type. He waits patiently for his foster parents to sit down and will chirp, purr, knead, and headbutt. Angel is active, playful, chatty, and has excellent manners with adult female cats. This pair would be great to help a family with a senior cat to seamlessly adjust prior to and after their passing. While they aren’t experienced with dogs or small children-they are happy to build a relationship through food and play and may do well with any patient housemates. Their foster parents are adults who work full time, spend their evenings doing art and playing games, and who have infrequent visitors. We are looking for an indoor home with a set routine and patient, cat savvy caretakers.

This foster home works with superheroes who have suffered abuse, neglect, or who have lost their families due to emergencies. Their fosters benefit from their typical 9-5 schedule and keep them company while they finish work projects or video game. They have 2 adult cats and help babysit cats who have been adopted. This home focuses on building good cat skills such as playing, climbing wall shelves, and using their trees for scratching.

Our Hero Academy students earn a cape after completing basic litter box, nail trimming, scratching post, and carrier training with our expert volunteers. Fosters are microchipped, combo tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/parasites, and receive age/wellness appropriate vaccines. We lovingly pack a Welcome Home Hero gift bag with their favorite toys, treats, a comic to read with them, and a blanket that helps them feel safe anywhere they go. Go meet their pets

We provide private in home fostering and do not allow visitors at our homes with an approved application, interview, and confirmed appointment made by the CEO.

We partner with our local, family owned businesses and events, but a majority of our adoptions are done from the comfort of your home.

More about this rescue

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
