My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asher is a handsome brindle boy with the most beautiful green eyes! He is a confident boy who LOVES to run around and play with toys and play with her foster sister. He LOVES all toys!

He is very energetic, but can also entertain himself with fun toys and quality chews. He loves to be right by your side and cuddle with you after playing. His favorite toys are squeaky balls and toys that he can carry around and squeak. He would do best in a fenced in yard.

He would do best in a home with older children due to him in his teething stage right now. He is learning to redirect to a chew toy.

He is looking for an active family who will take him on lots of walks, fun adventures and give him plenty of exercise.

He LOVES walking and would be a great hiking partner and anything outdoors!
He would be an awesome doggie daycare too! He went to daycare and LOVED the structured play with other pups! He has been hiking and did amazing!

He is doing is doing well with the potty training process, but will need a consistent, patient family to continue this process. He is crate trained and is adjusting to being in there well through out the night. He prefers to sleep with his people. :)
He is a smart boy and is showing progress each day learning a lot!

He is working on his puppy commands and manners. He will need a patient, consistent family to continue his training.

He will ready for puppy classes when he is adopted.

We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes.

If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this adorable boy into you home, please apply to meet her at PetPromise.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

PetPromise volunteers do their best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

If you are interested in adopting a particular pet, please complete an online adoption application at http://petpromise.org/adoption-application. We conduct reference checks and require a home visit before any adoption. The adoption fee varies by pet.

More about this rescue

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.
