My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tempo
Do you know who I'm supposed to tell that I love human beings? I want to ensure that the person in charge knows I am eager to meet my person. I've heard some cats are not too crazy about people, but I am their biggest fan. I am 7-years-old, only 8.6 pounds, and currently homeless. On March 2, I was found as a stray in Fishers. When the medical staff checked me over, they found an infection in my left eye. I also had a dental exam and had a tooth pulled. I feel much better now and excited whenever people come to visit me. The interviewer lady (IL) was charmed by my attention to her. I head-butted her, put my paws on her shoulders, and crawled into her lap. She told me I am a very good boy! I let another volunteer hold me in her arms like a baby, so you know I am a sucker for attention. I have an interesting blend of grey and buff in my Tabby coat. I also have a little brown spot in my green eyes. Look no further if you are looking for an affectionate kitty who loves to cuddle! 3-27-24

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
