My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is estimated to be about 1 year old, and is a gentle petite calico. She is playful and especially loves wand toys with feathers.   She likes to be petted and likes to snuggle.   Despite her playfulness, we think she would do well with children who are 5 years or older.  She has not been used to being with other cats or dogs, so she would probably do best as an only pet.  She was rescued as a stray who appeared to be living on her own outside, and then came to the Cat Network shelter.  Because she is now only about a year old, she has not had much experience living in a real home, except when she was living for a short time at a temporary foster home after her spay surgery.  The foster parent reports that Zoey was extremely sweet, well-behaved, and had great litterbox manners while she was at her home. Zoey is a lovable cat who would make a great companion for whoever adopts her.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
