My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chip, a survivor with a heart of gold. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Chip's journey has been marked by adversity, but his spirit remains unbroken. With his sleek coat and soulful eyes, Chip exudes a quiet strength and resilience that is truly inspiring.

Though he may have faced challenges in his past, Chip's gentle nature shines through in every tentative glance and cautious step. He's a timid soul, still learning to trust in the safety and security of his new surroundings. Yet, beneath his reserve lies a wellspring of love and affection waiting to be discovered.

Chip's days are spent in quiet contemplation, his timid demeanor a testament to the challenges he's overcome. He takes solace in the familiar comforts of his foster home, where he's slowly but surely learning to let his guard down and embrace the warmth of human kindness.

In search of a forever home where he can continue to heal and grow, Chip longs for a patient and understanding family who will provide him with the love and reassurance he needs to flourish. With time and gentle encouragement, Chip is sure to blossom into the loving and devoted companion he was always meant to be.

Are you ready to open your heart to Chip and offer him the second chance at happiness he so rightfully deserves?

Go meet their pets

More about this shelter

The Tulsa SPCA was founded in 1913 by a group of Tulsa citizens who were concerned about homeless dogs and cats and wanted to protect against abuse of draft animals used to do tilling on farms and heavy work in the mines and oil fields.

Our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats and engage the community to foster mutual well-being.

We value animals and believe that they deserve love, safety, and humane care. We provide safe, transitional shelter and medical care to all our cats and dogs. We place our animals into forever homes where they receive the companionship and care they deserve.
