My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Courtesy Post**
Hi my name is Stevie! I was recently a stray cat found outside, but a very nice lady swooped me up and brought into her home. The vet told the human that I’m about 8 years old and spayed, I'm up to date on my shots, a whole 8 pounds and very petite! When she first brought me in I was having terrible tummy issues but now I have a clean bill of health!! (I WILL need to keep eating my same food this lady gives me to stay this way though.)

I really love attention and pets, and as this lady will point out, I tend to drool when I'm very happy. I am a very sweet girl and would love to find a permanent home to land, I do love this lady who saved me but I think she’s a crazy cat lady, she has 5 of her own kitties and I would like to be the only princess around. She told me I can stay with her and those boys as long as I need but I would prefer my own house, not just a spare room. If you adopt me I promise to be the bestest girl and give all the cuddles!!

I do well with children, but I've never been around dogs, and I do not like other kitties. I am looking for a nice quiet home where I can live my best life for the rest of my years.

--> If interested in sweet Stevie, please email Erica directly at epfaff97@gmail.com.

Additional adoption info

Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. Each kitten has a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week time frame. Our typical adoption fees are $150 per Siamese Wannabe and $200 per Siamese mixes and Siamese and some others.

More about this rescue

We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
