If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Sweetheart rescue is house broken, crate trained, loves (often demands) attention, and will be your shadow all day. She is odorless with a beautiful coat. We did a lot of training when I adopted her three years ago at age 2. While she is very excited and distracted, she knows verbal commands for sit, lay down, stay (30-60 sec), crate, toy, off, and find it as well as hand signals for sit, lay down, and stop/wait/stay. A family of people and dogs at home to interact with really calms her, as I see during holidays with extended family. Rover boarders love her playing with their dogs, cats and kids. She is relaxed around young kids if they are dog confident. Soothes with bully sticks and soft toys she can mouth and squish. It’s just me at home and she needs a family. She has typical anxious energy of a German Shephard but has never chewed things up. She counter surfs and nosy w/ garbage. She races (lunges on leash!) to meet new friends and then fawns. She is always anxious to be greeted.
