My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, world! I'm Pepe, the four-legged 1.5-year-old dynamo with more personality than your favorite sitcom. They say I'm an Old English Sheepdog/Aussie mix, and at a whopping 70 pounds, I'm a big ball of fur and fun. So, here's the lowdown on yours truly. I may be short and stocky, but trust me, it just adds to my charm. You ever seen a dog strut with such confidence on little legs like mine? I'm like a pocket-sized powerhouse, ready to take on the world.

Now, let's talk about my social skills. I'm the introvert of introverts when it comes to meeting new people. I've got this whole "get off my grass" vibe, like an old man shaking his paw at the neighborhood kids. But, truth be told, all I really want is some good company and someone to truly love me for me. While I may not be the most cuddly of dogs, I do enjoy quality time with my people. I'll be their loyal companion everywhere they go, even if I'm just chilling on the sidelines, overseeing their activities.

Cats? Those little furballs just don't get my vibe. I mean, have you ever seen a cat strut around like they're plotting world domination or something? It's like they've got a secret plan. Me? I'm all about the chill vibes, not some feline drama. So, when those whiskered troublemakers cross my path, you better believe that I won't be happy about it. I have no interest in sharing my domain with them.

Now, about my interactions with other dogs? I love playing with my fellow furry pals, but let's just say I can get a bit carried away during playtime sometimes. I mean, who can blame me? When you're life has been as rough as mine, it's hard to contain the fun! Just give me a bit of time to warm up to them, and we'll be best buds in no time. Kids? Well, older ones might be alright, but the tiny humans that always want to hug and spread their love and joy around? They're a bit much for me, gotta admit. As I said....I emit old grandpa vibes and enjoy my routine and peace very much.

Car rides? They're a bit nerve-wracking at first, but once I'm in, I'm as cool as a cucumber. Sure, I might let out a few nervous whines, but give me some time, and I'll settle in just fine. Toys? Meh, they're cool, but I'm not about to go crazy for them. Water? Nah, not my thing. But exploring? Now, that's more my speed. Once I'm feeling confident, I'm all about checking out the backyard scene.

As for potty training, well, let's just say I've got it down to a science. I know exactly when and where to do my business. After all, a gentleman like me knows the importance of keeping the yard pristine.

Now, when it comes to chilling at home, I'm like the ultimate couch potato. You'll often find me lounging around, keeping a watchful eye on the household activities. I may not be the most active pup indoors, but hey, I've got my priorities straight.

Despite my quirks and anxieties, I am really a fun and one of a kind pup. They say I make sounds like Chewbacca sometimes. I mean, I don't hear it, but I'll take their word for it.

I'm ready for my next adventure, my forever home. Think you can handle a witty, charming(and let's face it sometimes a grandpa like) fella like me? Well, what are you waiting for? Let's make some magic happen.
