Macie is searching  for a special forever home. She landed herself  in a local overcrowded shelter where she was completely  shut down and unsure of the world. While we don't  know her past, we know it was certainly  not one of love and kindness. All that has changed now. 

Macie is working  on gaining confidence  in her foster home. She is learning  how to bond with people  and dog friends. She gets excited when she sees other dogs. She is learning  what a loving home really is. 

Quick movement  can startle her. She is looking for a clam forever  home that will give her space and time to decompress  and  learn her routine. A home without  small children would be best at this time. While she is in a foster home with 2 children and doing great with them, it is possible for them to make her more nervous if they aren't  able to give her a calm safe place. 

At time of adoption Macie will be spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and on monthly  preventatives.
