Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Minnie is a beautiful one-year old female Australian Shepherd mix who was surrendered by her owner on March 9, 2024.
Minnie has a black-and-white short smooth coat with black freckles on her front leg and brown shading on her hind legs, a long tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with brown eyebrows, a black button nose on her slender white muzzle, and short floppy ears.
This young lady has a vivacious, fun-loving personality and was full of playful energy when she had her glamour photos taken on November 14, 2023. Minnie loves attention and isn't shy about asking for it (smile). Minnie seems quite athletic .. If she was competing in track-and-field meets, we'd guess she might excel in high jump events.
Minnie was spayed on December 11, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine.
Minnie weighs 38 lbs and isn't a very large dog when you see her in person.
Minnie may look familiar to our HSOV volunteers and Facebook fans since she was originally in our shelter in mid-November 2023 and was adopted on December 12, 2023. Sadly, Minnie's new owner moved away and a family member returned Minnie to our shelter on March 9th, 2024 .. So this precious young lady is once again looking for a permanent loving home.
The family member who returned Minnie told us that she is good with children and also with other animals (but did not specify whether that included cats as well as dogs). Minnie is still perfecting her housetraining skills.
