My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola is a very sweet puppy, about a year old now. She is gentle and sweet with adults and children and has no food or treat aggression. She walks well on a leash and can sit and lay down. She’s wonderful with other dogs and does amazing at doggie daycare. She does hate being crated and will be very vocal about it. She is 80% potty trained but can still have accidents if not monitored while inside. She loves to sleep with you at night. She’s great on walks but cannot be left in the yard unsupervised or she will dig to China. Lola needs a home with someone who can spend time with her and give her the love she deserves.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The way the adoption works is you complete an application, which we review. If you have had previous pets (like a cat or other dogs) we do a vet check to ensure they are up to date on shots etc. Then the last step is a home visit to basically ensure there are no obvious dangers for the dog in the home. The fee is $100.

More about this rescue

Releashed Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training and rehoming them into permanent loving homes.

Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Our goal is to find the right family to love and care for the animals for their lifetime.

Releashed Rescue has a vision of a world where animals are not killed because they are inconvenient. Instead, we hope to educate the public about pet over-population, spay , neuter, humane treatment of animals and how animals can enrich the lives of people including the elderly, children and those with disabilities.
