My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please welcome Nolan to the Releashed Rescue pack. I’m Nolan a free spirited, happy three-year-old husky maybe malamute mix weighing 70 lbs. who is looking for a forever home. The good news is that I am house, and kennel trained. I enjoy being outside in the fenced yard playing but more than that I love my people. People make me happy, people make me thrive! I need my people, could that be you? I really am not a typical High energy boy. I just want to curl up and be with my people after a nice walk in the park. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The way the adoption works is you complete an application, which we review. If you have had previous pets (like a cat or other dogs) we do a vet check to ensure they are up to date on shots etc. Then the last step is a home visit to basically ensure there are no obvious dangers for the dog in the home. The fee is $100.

More about this rescue

Releashed Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training and rehoming them into permanent loving homes.

Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Our goal is to find the right family to love and care for the animals for their lifetime.

Releashed Rescue has a vision of a world where animals are not killed because they are inconvenient. Instead, we hope to educate the public about pet over-population, spay , neuter, humane treatment of animals and how animals can enrich the lives of people including the elderly, children and those with disabilities.
