My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application.

Mr. Wrigley's story is one of resilience and unwavering spirit. He didn't choose the circumstances he found himself in. He was merely a possession in a home where love and compassion were lacking. For eight long years, he lived with a family who saw him as an object, not a cherished companion. But when his family decided they no longer wanted him, Mr. Wrigley faced a fate no living creature deserves. They asked for him to be euthanized, but thankfully, no veterinarian would fulfill such a heartless request.
Despite the neglect and mistreatment he has endured, Mr. Wrigley's spirit remains unbroken. He is a gentle soul, full of love and affection. He adores people and craves companionship. His friendly demeanor lights up the room, and his chill attitude is infectious.
Wrigley gets along famously with dogs his size or smaller, but his past experiences have left him nervous around larger dogs. Yet, he's learning to overcome his fears, showing incredible resilience and determination every step of the way. However, there are some boundaries we must respect for Mr. Wrigley's well-being. He is not suited for a home with cats or small children. His last encounter with young children under the age of four was traumatic, as they pulled on his tail and tried to ride him.
It's clear that Mr. Wrigley needs a nurturing environment where he can feel safe and loved, free from the fear of mistreatment. Mr. Wrigley has a sweet and gentle nature. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new places. He is looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cherished as a true member of the family. With the right environment and understanding, Mr. Wrigley is sure to thrive and bring joy to his new family.
House and crate trained.
