My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aiden is a young, energetic Jack Russell Terrier mix who is an expert lizard hunter and a professional tennis ball burrier! He's a very smart guy, learns very quickly, and is learning loads in his foster home. This 1 1/2-year-old, 17 1/2lb. boy enjoys chew bones, playing with toys and stuffies (watch because he will chew parts off!), including playing tug. His favorite activity is playing chase with his foster siblings, as you can see in his video. He sleeps quietly in his crate overnight. His potty training is a work in progress so his forever family will need to continue to work with him on that. He is learning to walk on a leash and is doing pretty well at it, and will continue to get better with more practice. He rides well in a car, so far in a crate only with his foster family. He's pretty serious about his food which should make him a quick study in any positive reinforcement training program. He does best if fed separately if there's another dog in the home. He has loved all the people he has met so far but may be a bit too active for small children. He has met both small and large dogs and loves them all. He much prefers to play with dogs who will rough house with him. He has also met cats, has smelled them and investigated them, but he's also chased some. Aiden would love to join an active family with a fenced yard who is ready to help him continue to learn about the many joys of becoming a beloved part of their forever family. Jack Russells are an intelligent breed, and Aiden most likely will need high-level enrichment toys that can keep him occupied and stimulated. If you think you have the perfect active home for Aiden, and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please complete an app and tell us more about your family.
