Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Ernie is a confident, handsome, chatty and playful cat who would do best as the lone king cat of the castle. This kitty is eager to play with any toy, object, or foot he can find, but really enjoys lasers, fishing wands, mouse videos and springs. He has perfect litter box manners and has never gone anywhere else. Ernie loves being around his humans and will follow you around the house as go about your day. He also enjoys sleeping with his humans and snuggling under the covers. Ernie will let you know it's time to wake up by bringing his toys to the bed. Ernie eagerly awaits his human's return and will greet you at the door to be picked up and snuggled. He will then tell you at length all about his day of playing, eating and napping. Ernie is very food motivated and isn't fussy about what kind of dry food he eats. If you are in the kitchen near the his food cupboard he will be sure to let you know he'd like second breakfast, second lunch or second dinner.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Ernie has not been known to get along well with other cats and would need to be the only cat in a home. It is unknown if he is good with dogs or small children.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
