Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Nayru loves everyone she meets and will greet you with her constant purrs!
She loves to play with everyone, yet can happily keep herself entertained. When picked up she will usually go limp like a noodle, and soak up the love. Other times however she'll jump out quickly so she can get back to playing with you! When she's not playing she enjoys taking deep kitty sleeps, watching birds out the window, going on walks in her kitty harness (she's amazing on walks), and finding mischief (make sure you lock the treats)! She's the sort of cat that will knock something off the table and look at you as if to say "have I got your attention now?" If you're looking for a kitty who can be independent, yet by your side when you need them, who loves to play, and you can handle her mischievous side (which her adorable head tilt makes up for), Nayru might just be your perfect match.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): She is on a fish first diet as previous fosters has said she can have an unhappy stomach if she eats chicken and possibly other meats. This could likely however be further explored. One of her many quirks is her head tilt to the left side. This is likely do to her past medical history, and may resolve, however it does make her quite cute for now! Nayru has had a fairly rough start medically with lots of ear and sinus issues. "Chronic URT infection" and "Otitis Media" which essentially both mean a build up of fluid in the ears, nose and occasional eyes. This has been treated, however sometimes she will require a quick eye and nose wipe with a warm cloth. As she ages we hope it'll improve; however she's made so much progress already.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
