My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.
DOB:  08/14/21

Charlie is a sweet but shy FIV+ boy looking for his forever home. He was found outdoors with an infected leg, which is why he’s got his right sleeve rolled up on his PJs, but since then has recovered wonderfully. He loves spending time around his foster parent, close enough that he can still get pets, but far enough away so he can stretch all the way out. He is a great conversationalist and will announce his presence whenever he enters the room. At times he can be shy, but is quick to warm up to new friends.

Charlie loves to be pet – especially on his chubby cheeks – and will love you as much as you love him. At night, he’s not shy to announce when he is ready for bed and will spend all night right by you.

Charlie would likely do better in a home without dogs, but we are not sure at this time how he would do with other cats.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
