My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB: 03/01/23

Moon came to GRASP after her owners abandoned her outside when they moved. She has a little residual trauma from her experience - she is very, very friendly, but is nervous of the unknown. Who can blame her? This is not shyness, just nervousness. She is healing more every day.

Moon's favorite thing to do is roll over on her back. She is playful, but not destructive at all. She did well with some kittens that shared her foster space. She is partial to females and is a great TV watching buddy!

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
