My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahsoka is an adorable female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on December 4, 2023 after she was found on Goose Run Road in the Marietta Ohio area with no apparent mother in sight. Ahsoka was a tiny 6-week old baby at that time.

Ahsoka has a dark orange short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern with white markings on her chest/paws, a long ringed tail, and a precious kitten face with bronze-colored eyes, a white milk mustache, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.

This little waife was understandably very frightened when she entered our shelter but quickly sensed that she was among new friends (our compassionate HSOV kennel techs) who loved her unconditionally and only wanted the best for her.

Ahsoka was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on December 7, 2023. She weighed just 1.6 lbs that day.

These updated photos were taken on February 25, 2024, and we fell in love with Ahsoka all over again. This sweet young lady is everything you envision when you hear the word 'kitten' .. Ahsoka is cute as a button, very affectionate, and full of playful kitten antics.

Ahsoka will be spayed in the near future and already has a home (and another HSOV kitten playmate) waiting on her after she is spayed and her adoption is finalized.

UPDATE: Ahsoka was spayed on March 19, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 5.4 lbs that day.
