My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Willow. I am a sweet, spunky, sometimes vocal, easygoing girl who is extra special. I am a little love bug who would love nothing more than to be by your side. I love being pet and belly rubs are wonderful, too. I really love chasing that silly red light that jumps all over. My foster mom says I'm such a good girl -- I go in the crate easily when I need to go somewhere, I'm very calm and quiet in the car, and I behave really well at the vet. Yes, I am all that despite having a pretty rough start at this thing called "life"!

My story begins during a time when I was scared and hungry. I found some old bread in a nice lady's yard. She fed me yummy cat food, and I was so happy that I decided to stick around! Finally, someone I trusted to not hurt me.

Lucky for me, the weather was still pretty nice. I loved laying on the nice lady's deck in the warm sunshine. After a few weeks, the weatherman predicted a snow storm. The nice lady brought me in the house, but I was still a little scared, so I hid behind the washing machine all day.

I wasn't feeling too good, so I was brought to the vet. I had a few medical issues. A group of nice people from a rescue took over to help me get better and find me the perfect, loving home.

I healed up pretty well except for one thing -- my tail was broken. This injury damaged some nerves which makes it hard for me to hold my urine. I try really hard to go in the litter box, but it doesn't always work. This means I need a special human that can express my bladder and keep me healthy. This injury makes me an extra special cat. If you are an extra special human that is willing to take a chance on me, I won't let you down.

Love, Willow

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is for you to fill out an adoption application which can be found on our website, www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our staff members.

****Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are at a reduced price in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

More about this rescue

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc, is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services, all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies and more and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes.
