My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gizmo and Rue are two-year-old female piggies and new to the rescue. They are still shy but will come out to investigate their fresh greens and are starting to vocalize more and more. They will try to get away when picked up, but calm down quickly when held securely and petted. Rue has a smooth coat and Gizmo is fuzzy with has longer hair that is reminiscent of a fuzzy caterpillar. Rue is the more vocal of the two. Her favorite game is to avoid being picked up, then whooping like a car alarm until she decides you are okay and worthy of holding her.

They would do best in an enclosure of at least eight square feet to explore. Potential adopters please make sure there are no hay allergies in the home before adopting. A meet and greet can be scheduled if you are not sure or have never handled guinea pigs.

We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.
