Hey there, I'm Cherry, a lovable female German Shepherd in search of my forever home. I may be a bit nervous and jumpy at first, but once I warm up to you, I promise to be the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. During our walk together, I did my best to overcome my nerves, and I believe I did quite well. I did have a funny moment when I mistook a traffic cone for something to be wary of - my hair stood on end, and I couldn't help but bark at it. It was a silly moment that made us all laugh! After our walk, I was treated to a yummy lick mat, and let me tell you, I enjoyed every single lick! I may have some quirks, but I am eager to learn, grow, and become the best companion I can be for my future family. We host adoption events on the 2nd Saturdays of the month at PetSmart in Rowlett from 12pm - 3pm. Petsmart is located at 5709 Liberty Grove Rd Rowlett, TX 75089.

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.
