Hello Guys & Dolls! Kitty here and I'd like to urge YOU to consider adopting a senior cat like myself before you start scrolling for kitten pictures! Why you ask? Well I am a professional lap sitter and I can guarantee you a kitten IS NOT. I know a thing or two about life; I know my likes and dislikes. And I am able to eloquently express my opinions. I no longer have any interest in countertop grazing. Frankly, I just can't leap anymore. Not a fan of pets on your counters, well good luck with a kitten! What else, oh I know feet are for and that they don't need to be attacked while under the covers. And during the numerous years I lived with my owner, I witnessed a range of human emotions. I know to comfort you when I see tears. Let's plan for years of love together, I sure would enjoy being back in a home. And I guarantee I will be a faithful companion. Kitty is ~ 13 years old. She has a bit of arthritis so some steps up to a window perch might be in order. Kitty is hyperthyroid and takes her medicine well. Treating hyperthyroidism is not much of an expense and we may even be able to assist. She has recently had a dental cleaning that required only a few extractions. We know there is someone out there who can give Kitty the home she desires. Will you help us find them?

More about this shelter
The Cat Welfare Association was founded in 1945 by a small group of people who saw the need for an organization designed specifically to help the many stray and abused cats in the Columbus area. We are a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting better care and understanding of cats while providing for the physical welfare of homeless cats and kittens.
The cats taken into our care are strays and frequently have been abused or injured. We give them plenty of tender loving care along with any necessary medical treatment they might need. Our shelter provides a home for these cats and kittens until they are adopted-- whether it be for a short time or if they live out their lives here.
