My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nemo has healed from his front leg amputation surgery, and he is available for adoption now! Nemo is approximately 1-2 years old, 40-45 lbs./medium sized, fully vetted including microchipped. Nemo has several hobbies he enjoys and being a tripaw has not slowed him down at all: Some of his favorite things to do: He enjoys counter surfing, shredding paper and cardboard (if he can find), playing outside with friends, making toys out of found objects, "unaliving his squeaky toys, getting the zoomies, and following his foster mom's every step. When he is not playing, he loves taking long naps! Nemo loves his people and wants to be with them. He is extremely friendly to people and dogs both. Nemo is a playful, happy-go-lucky, smart dog. He understands "no", "leave it", and is working on "sit."

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides medical care, including vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter for all our adoptable pets. With years of experience, our goal is to find the perfect fit for each dog as well as the best pet for your family.
